We collect no personal data

This website collects no personal data on any server.

There are no user accounts, no registration, and no forms that send information.

Where your answers are kept

Your assessment answers and your checklist are stored only in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), on your own device.

That information never leaves your browser: it is not sent to any server, ours or anyone else’s. The calculation of which controls apply to you happens entirely on your device.

How to delete them

You can delete them at any time with the “Delete my data” button in the assessment.

They are also deleted when you clear the site data from your browser.

You can export them to a .json file to keep them yourself or move them to another device, and import them later.

Analytics

This website uses no cookie-based analytics and no third-party tracking tools.

If analytics were added in the future, it would have to be cookieless or subject to prior consent, and it would be stated here.

Server

The server that serves this website may log, as any web server does, the IP address and the request for technical and security purposes. Those logs are not used to build profiles and are not combined with the content of your assessment, which the server never receives.
